Christopher D. Hession
Christopher D. Hession regularly acts as outside general counsel to his business clients and their constituents, providing business-oriented legal counsel and advice relating to mergers and acquisitions, strategic agreements, stakeholder rights, director and officer duties and many other commercial matters. He represents a diverse corporate client base ranging from emerging enterprises to highly established organizations in varied industries. Chris also represents individual entrepreneurs, owners, directors and executives of business organizations with respect to their personal business ventures and interests. When litigation becomes advisable or necessary, Chris provides his business and individual clients representation and counseling in complex litigation matters.
Chris is licensed to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Colorado Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Colorado. Chris is a long time active member of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in the Chicago area since 1997. He began serving on the national board of directors of the alumni association in 2010 and currently as Vice President of the national alumni association. Chris will take on the role of President of the alumni association for the 2013-2014 term.

John J. Cummins, Of Counsel
John “Jack” Cummins concentrates his practice in advising businesses in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and intellectual property protection. His clients are primarily technology oriented companies, licensed professionals and entrepreneurs. Jack has experience as a general counsel, chief financial officer, chief operating officer and a member of the boards of director of several businesses.
Jack received his B.A. and J.D. from DePaul University and served as President of the DePaul University Alumni Association, Chairman of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the DePaul University College of Law and Vice Chair of the Advisory Board for the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul University.

Brian J. Stephenson, Of Counsel
Brian J. Stephenson is a career litigator. Brian is a former public prosecutor and private defense attorney who is licensed in the States of Illinois and Indiana. Brian has tried over a hundred jury trials as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, including lawsuits involving contracts, personal injury, commercial disputes, equitable claims, fraud, civil rights, property rights and all major torts. He served as an in-house attorney for a national insurance company for six years where he managed all litigation in the State of Indiana Brian also has significant experience handling arbitrations, mediations and hearings. He is a member of the federal trial bar and is licensed to practice in the federal courts of Indiana and Illinois.
